New poster outlines domestic violence services in Western Sydney for male victims

This poster has been developed by the Western Sydney Men And Relationships Services Interagency (WSMARS) with the aim to make it easier for men to access DV services. It includes information about online resources, generic men's services, family violence services, fathers' services, generic helplines, legal advice and family violence and legal services for gay men.

I created the legal service for men but its not limited to one area. Anyone can access free advice and guidance. The only rules are as follows:

1. You have to be a men. Clearly its a service for men.
2. The dispute can not be with another man. This will create a conflict.
3. You cannot already have a lawyer. This service is only for men who cannot afford and do not have a lawyer.
4. If you sack your lawyer to get free advice I can not help you. I do not want to be seen as taking work from other lawyers.

I hope the men will honour these rules.

In order to carry out our aim of working with governments to provide better assistance to those affected by family violence, the One in Three Campaign works actively with all sides of the political spectrum but is unaffiliated with any political party or position.
